Smooth Gel - Rice Flour - Thickener - 250 Gram

Smooth Gel Pregelatinised Rice Flour is an excellent thickener for non-dairy yoghurts.

Replaces fats to get a creamy smooth texture. Dissolves in hot or cold liquids and gels as it cools

This product being pregelatinised can be added to hot or cold foods and will still dissolve and form a thickening gel as it cools. This means you can add more Smooth Gel to your coconut yoghurt after they have been made.

Non-Dairy Coconut Yoghurt

  • Use 10 to 20 grams in a litre batch of coconut yoghurt in place of other thickeners like pectin.
  • More can be added after fermentation, just whisk in vigorously.

Yes, does exactly what it says, thickens even after the coconut yoghurt has been in the fridge I added more smooth gel to thicken it.
