A SCOBY is a Symbiotic Culture of friendly Bacteria and Yeast.

This living organism ferments sweetened tea to become what is known as the kombucha beverage. The living culture in this drink can help restore good health and prevent illnesses.

As the SCOBY is a living colony we do occasionally run out of stock while waiting for the next batch to mature enough to harvest.

The best growing season is during the warmer months. The use of an adjustable heat mat can help in the colder months.
