These sterile jars are ideal for keeping cultures in the freezer.
When you open a sachet to take out a small amount for your cheesemaking, or yoghurt making, it is easier to see just how much you are using when you use a clear jar, and the jars of course seal far better than a sachet.
Always allow jars of culture to come to room temperature before opening, and keep closed as much as possible. The cultures and moulds will readilly absorb moisture out of the air, which we try to reduce as much as possible.
