How Does It Work?
We call this culture 'maintenance free' as you do no have to strain the kefir to recapture your grains, and you don't have to continually make kefir ever day or two, just to keep the grains alive. Just add a small amount of culture into your milk, coconut water, juice, or water, keep warm and 24 hours later you will have a delightful kefir.

we differ about the tasteBy: Wendy Robyn on 25 June 2019I bought this recently to try with my partner who doesn't do well on dairy. I made a batch using a carton of coconut milk. It was easy to make the kefir and I found it quite palatable although it did not retain a coconutty flavour. My partner is a bit more 'particular' and didn't like the taste. I like that I can try agin using a variety of different liquids, maybe another one will suit better. It's certainly good value for money, the amount you get for the price.

I have an adjustable Temperature Yoghurt Maker & set it at 30 degrees for 24 hours after reading Green Livings information sheets I wanted to get a good & strong dose of gut bacteria & a stronger flavour. The Kefir was great almost as thick as custard & with a great flavour, what more could you ask for?
