Live Probiotic Bacteria
This culture is guaranteed to be alive. As soon as you add the culture to your recipe it starts to grow and multiply, forming millions of live probiotics.
How Does It Work?
We call this culture 'maintenance free' as you do no have to strain the kefir to recapture your grains, and you don't have to continually make kefir ever day or two, just to keep the grains alive. Just add a small amount of culture into your milk, coconut water, juice, or water, keep warm and 24 hours later you will have a delightful kefir.

Maintenance Free Kefir CultureBy: Dmitriy Gussak on 3 June 2020I've been making kefir from your product for three years. I am happy with the result. I recommend it to all my friends.
My Kefir26 May 2020I have been waiting for my bottles to arrive locally as I live in Vic. Can't wait to start. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Thank You for simplifying our usually complex lives! xxx
Kefir culturesBy: Kim Hamilton on 11 February 2020This is really easy to use. So far I have only made the dairy kefir and it is so good that I have not tried other options such as water kefir. The trickiest part is dividing it up according to the instructions. I found the video useful when she says that the amount required is about the size of a match head. I have recommended this to all of my friends.
Love love loveBy: Cassie on 5 November 2019We had never made or bought kefir before and put all our trust in this culture. And didn’t it deliver! Absolutely beautiful, we have this or the tangy yoghurt everyday!!
Kefir CultureBy: Alan Lamb on 12 July 2019Product is simple to use and works well. Instructions are easy to follow and I have enjoyed the kefir made with it.
we differ about the tasteBy: Wendy Robyn on 25 June 2019I bought this recently to try with my partner who doesn't do well on dairy. I made a batch using a carton of coconut milk. It was easy to make the kefir and I found it quite palatable although it did not retain a coconutty flavour. My partner is a bit more 'particular' and didn't like the taste. I like that I can try agin using a variety of different liquids, maybe another one will suit better. It's certainly good value for money, the amount you get for the price.
A+++++By: cara letho on 11 June 2019Easy to use, cultures very well. Economical and no more worry about keeping my grains alive if I don't get around to feeding them eg: while away on vacation. Green Living Australia has been a wonderful supplier of cultures and other products and I trust and value their service.
Easy to make and no messBy: Julie on 20 March 2019What a great product - so easy to make and minimal cleaning up. Tastes great and much more economical than supermarket bought. I am now stress free when going away and my family gets to enjoy kefir everyday. Great service and prices. Fast delivery. Highly recommend Green Living Australia.
So tasty, so easyBy: Ty on 24 February 2019The kefir culture was so easy to make with milk. The instructions were very clear. I'm yet to make a non-milk based kefir but am looking forward to that also.

Nice & ThickBy: Rob Wyatt on 5 September 2018Just made my first batch using Green Livings Kefir Culture & was impressed. I have an adjustable Temperature Yoghurt Maker & set it at 30 degrees for 24 hours after reading Green Livings information sheets I wanted to get a good & strong dose of gut bacteria & a stronger flavour. The Kefir was great almost as thick as custard & with a great flavour, what more could you ask for?
MishealBy: M.Gouralnik on 18 August 2018Very good produckt
