For cheese making, one of the most important things is to have is a good cloth to drain the curds and whey.

You must use a cloth that has the right weave for the type of cheese you are making, and is strong enough to be washed and used again.

Hard Cheese Making Cloth 90cm square. The butter muslin we have located for you is an excellent loose weave 100% cotton cloth, for all your "Hard Cheese" making needs, and can be washed and used many times before it needs to be replaced. We recommend washing these cheesecloths before their first use.

Blue Cheese Cloth

Classed as a "disposable" cheese cloth, this cloth can actually be washed and used multiple times, just rinse out after use, and leave in a light sanitising solution overnight and then rinse out in the morning.

The surface properties of this cloth helps to avoid the problem of your curds sticking to the cheese cloth when making softer, semi hard cheeses.

Comes in a 65cm square, perfect for our cheese baskets and hoops.
